Summer Seeker's Hour
Tired of traditional Sunday School?
Summer Seeker's Hour is our summer kids and teens program that takes place during our summer worship hour every Sunday from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. The summer program runs from June 10 - Sept. 2, and is for ages 6 - 19.
For Summer Seeker's Hour, Elementary and Middle School students meet together for discussion time, as do High School and College students. This year our theme is "Back to Basics," as we focus on classic church and Sunday school lessons like the Lord's Prayer.
We would love to have more volunteer Seeker's Hour teachers this summer! The lessons are completely prepared for you ahead of time, unless you would like to prepare your own. All supplies and materials for the class are provided ahead of time and will be waiting for you in the classroom, and your lesson plan will be emailed to you no later than 2 days before your scheduled volunteer date.
The only requirement to teach is that you love kids and teens, read your lesson plan ahead of time, and arrive no later than 10:45 a.m.
There is nothing more fulfilling than spending time with these kids and teens. Thank you for supporting the education ministries here at the church by volunteering your valuable time.
