Outreach Ministries

At Auburn First, we believe that Compassion is love in action (Colossians 3:12-14).As we live together in community, we recognize Christ in each person, and we are moved to respond with care, empathy, and mercy. Below are some of the ways we are striving to put our love for our neighbors in action.
Monday Night Suppers
Every Monday night, we partner with the Auburn Food Bank to provide our neighbors, who are hungry for food and community, a free meal. Guests may eat indoors or take their food to go.
We also provide canned food, clothing, and household items for free when available.

Little Food Pantry

Each week, our congregation stocks our Little Food Pantry so that our neighbors who are in need can stock their shelves. Many of these gifts are given away at our Monday Night Suppers as well.
Church and community members are welcome to leave what they can and take what they need.
Blood Drives
Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. For this reason, Auburn First partners with the American Red Cross to provide community blood drives. Donations go to help accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer.
To give the gift of life, advnce registration is suggested. To register for an upcoming blood drive, please click here, then enter "FUMCAuburn" in the red box at the top right corner of the web page.

Donation Drives

Throughout the year, members of our community provide gifts to various organizations. This year we did a diaper drive and "showed our luv" to families at a local preschool
At Christmas, we provided gifts for students and their families that shares our building. Last year, we provided over 65+ gifts!
